- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Why is WV so ass backwards on paying taxes? When in VA they simply send you your property taxes in June/December to make a payment. WV, they send you on a multiple wild goose chase to figure out how much you owe or like me, they haven't sent me my papers for payment, which needs to be done in person mon thru friday. Well I work in VA mon thru friday and much like the DMV, they would probably send me out over 7 times. I was asked to look up how much I owe on the website and my name doesnt even show.
